Storytime

Introduce young children to books and reading through our storytime programs. Each week, librarians read stories and provide activities to match the ages of children. See our various storytime programs. Registration is required. An adult must remain with babies and younger children.

 

Library Dogs – Read to a Service Dog

Monday, September 20     6:30 – 7:45 pm
Monday, October 18           6:30 - 7:45 pm
Monday, November 15      6:30 – 7:45 pm

Schedule some time to read aloud to a trained therapy dog (For Better Independence – FBI Assistance Dogs.) Children in first grade and up can read to a dog for 10 minutes. Bring a book or select one from the library’s display. Registration begins two weeks prior to each date.

Students-LearningExpress Library is here to help if you need some assistance with reading, writing, math, and vocabulary skills or are looking for some help with all those high school and college exams. Build your skills or take practice tests that include detail answers and explanations. Also, a great place to learn about jobs, careers and workplace skills.
