  • Homeschool World The official web site of Practical Homeschooling Magazine. The site provides access to articles, homeschool experts, events and forums. A list of Michigan homeschool support groups is included.
  • National Home Education Research Institute NHERI conducts and collects research about homeschooling and publishes the research journal The Home School Researcher. This is a great site to find facts and statistics to support homeschooling.

  • Information Network for Christian Homes This group’s goal is to provide information, resources and encouragement needed to teach children at home in the state of Michigan.
  • Homeschooling Michigan This site offers a homeschooling message board which is often referenced by other local homeschool sites. The site also offers information on local support groups, field trips and homeschool events in Michigan.
  • Reach Homeschool Group A group which serves Oakland County. The group is made up of families with diverse beliefs and supports all homeschooling techniques.
  • S.H.A.R.E. (Schoolers at Home: Achievement, Recreation, Encouragement) SHARE is a group serving Milford, Wixom, Walled Lake, Commerce, Highland, West Bloomfield and neighboring areas in Oakland County, Michigan. They are focused on enrichment activities, field trips and family fellowship.
  • Oakland County Homeschool Group A secular homeschool group for families in southern Oakland County sponsors this site. The group provides social activities and support for homeschoolers.
  • Michigan Homeschooling A-Z This page provides contact information for Michigan homeschool organizations and local homeschool groups.

  • Michigan Teacher Network An excellent resource including lesson plans and information on Michigan Curriculum Standards.
  • DonnaYoung.org This website contains homeschool forms, printables, and planning helps for those who are educating children. Most of the printables are in adobe acrobate format and require the free acrobat reader.
  • HomeSchool Reviews The purpose of this site is to provide a community where homeschoolers can read reviews and discuss curriculum and other issues that relate to homeschooling.
  • Homeschooling Adventures This site provides subject help, teachers' resources and links to worksheets for homeschooling parents.
