Friends of Milford Public Library
As a Friend, you become an important part of an organization that cares about and supports our library. Many of the Friends of the Library volunteer their ideas, expertise, time and other resources to help:
- raise funds for projects and materials beyond the library's budget
- sponsor special programs that encourage reading and literacy for young and the older.
Volunteering is Fun!
If you enjoy books, the Friends of the Milford Public Library could use your help at the Friendly Finds Bookstore where
you'll get first pick of new arrivals and, meet new people in the community. If interested in helping us at the bookstore or with other fundraisers, stop in and sign up or give us a call at
248-684-0845 for more information.

Friendly Finds Book Store
Besides being a great place to recycle your books. Our customers find the store a comfortable and convenient place to look for books for their children and themselves. It's also an enjoyable place to work if you are looking for an opportunity to volunteer your time.
We now have a staff of 26 regular volunteers. We are now recycling magazines free of charge. Local artists sell their work on consignment from our shop. This includes jewelry, tote bags, handmade soap, artwork, note cards, and books by local authors and much more!
To join our staff, stop by the store and leave your name and phone number with the person on duty or with one of the library staff.
