Art Geyer Civil War Collection
Donated to the library by Milford resident Arthur Geyer upon his death in 1995, the Civil War Collection is comprised of approximately 450 books, and is housed in the Genealogy/Local History cabinets at the end of the Adult Collection.
This reference collection houses military indexes and Civil War-related publications designed to aid in historical and genealogical research of that era. Some of the collection’s strengths are in the areas of: Michigan Civil War history, Confederate history, regimental histories, memoirs, battles, and pictorial works.
